Testimonials

Chelsea was immensely helpful during our transition to a family of five. I didn’t realize I needed the extra support but I really did. Chelsea answered my breastfeeding questions, showed me infant massage techniques, did laundry and washed dishes, and even held the baby so I could spend some much needed quality time with my two older daughters. I wish every new mom could get this kind of help!

I called Chelsea when my daughter was 4 days old as my breasts were engorged and sore and I felt overwhelmed, exhausted, and unexpectedly emotional. Chelsea offers non-judgmental listening, has strong developmental and postpartum knowledge and ideas I was able to implement immediately, and has a great sense of humor. Shes intuitive, a hard worker, and through being with her and observing her I gained confidence and new parenting skills. She also helped with practical things: My baby’s first bath at home, laundry, meal prep, ideas for caring for 2 children and the adjustment this entails, emotional support for return to work, errands, helping get me rest, breastfeeding support, dishes, the list goes on. Thank you Chelsea for being with me in one of the most beautiful but also difficult times! My recommendation: Hire her!!

Chelsea comes highly recommended from me. She was so helpful to me, in such a chaotic time. I had just had my third child and was feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Chelsea provided help with every aspect of my life – my home (laundry, meal prep, general organization), my children, and my sanity. I happily would recommend her to others and feel that anyone that hires her is a lucky family!

As first time clueless parents, my husband and I would have been completely lost without Chelsea’s invaluable help. There is so much you can read about and research online about bringing your baby home but it’s completely different when you actually do. We were so unsure of ourselves in this uncharted territory and Chelsea came in with a wealth of knowledge, pro tips and an extra pair of professional hands that made everything easier. We asked a million questions every time she came over and she was able to provide us with the answers and reassurance we needed – we felt more confident as parents after each of her visits. Not only was her information instrumental, she was always there to help give me the precious time I needed – whether that was to shower, sleep or even eat! We wholeheartedly recommend Chelsea as a postpartum doula whether its for your first child or multiple children. We certainly plan to use her vital services in the future as our family continues to grow!

“Chelsea has been an incredible support to me over these last few months. As a new mom, there are so many unknowns and a range of emotions from worry and overwhelm to pure bliss and excitement. Chelsea has been there for both me and my son as we have navigated the beginning of this journey and new chapter. From texting and calling me to just check in, to watching my son when I need an extra hand, to bringing perspective and offering advice in response to my many questions, she has always brought such compassion, understanding, reassurance, and a listening ear. I so appreciate her heart, her support, and her love for little ones!”

“I’ve had the pleasure of watching Chelsea grow in many roles: as a social worker, as a helper and as a mother of two beautiful girls. When she told me that she was channeling her passion of motherhood and helping others into becoming a Doula, I was thrilled for the families that she would be working with. Chelsea has truly found her calling and I’m looking forward to working with her when I start my family in the upcoming year.”
