Postpartum Doula

Doula Services:

Providing a listening ear and a helping hand to new parents, so Mom can recover, rest and allow herself time to heal.
Nurturing, uniting, and educating new families during the first few weeks of being home with baby
Offering physical, emotional, and mental support for the recovering mother, and or family of newborn
Newborn instruction, support and education
Breastfeeding and Bottle/formula feeding support, instruction and education
Newborn care – instruction and education surrounding the care of your newborn
Care of new mother – support for mothers recovering from trauma associated with childbirth
Baby wearing instruction
Light household duties (laundry, dishes, help tidying up etc)
Assistance with meals and meal planning
Support to the entire family and assistance with bringing baby home to sibling(s) as well as bringing baby home to pets

Included in these rates is a one hour prenatal visit, as well as phone/text/email consults starting upon hire.
